Winter Woodland Robin

This was colored with Prismacolor pencils on mix media paper. After the coloring was done, I added some snow. And for making snow, I used flakes of a white Prismacolor stick, [link] Making the flakes was simple, I took a vegetable peeler and "peeled" the stick until I got enough snow. Now, in order to stick the snow on the paper, I used the pressure of a pile of dictionaries for a couple of days and it did the trick all right. I hope that you'll like!

I could have use a can of pencil fixative to make the snow adhere but since it smells very strong and has volatile chemicals in it, I opted for a more natural solution!
