The Autumn Unicorn
Its manes waved gently in the season's breeze
embracing the late Summer, becoming Autumn
Dryads whispering... their rain whishing's
a mix of white-golden hair
and an old scent of petals danced the air
turning and turning... faes, seeds and wings
enjoying the last warm of Sun and light
The first drop came and fell touching its horn
and so it began The Fall...
trees sung their departing leaves,
trapped in a coloured spell
Its shook the manes again,
paws tapping the ground
ready to start racing for the hills
